In this project you will have to build a model of an inline-four engine, that is, a motor with four crank-connecting rod mechanims, like the one of the gif below. In the picture on the left you can see the main parts of an engine, though, not all of them will be considered in this project (the valves will not be included):
Many car models use this kind of engine (in fact, it is the most common type of engine). Below you can see two examples:
