The Empire State Building is one of the best known sky skyscrapers of the world. It is placed in Manhattan (New York) where it is visited by millions of tourists every year. It was the world’s tallest building for almost 70 years, from 1931, when its construction finished, to 1970, when the World Trade Center was built.

The Empire State has a height of 443 meters if the antenna is included, and of 381 meters not including it. Its highest floor, the number 102, is at 373 meters height.
